for the ending i start on fret 1 of the A string and rapidly pluck as i slide down to fret 
24 and then back up again and stop (i know most basses only go to fret 19/20 in this case 
slide to fret 19/20 and then back up to 1)
then i finish on a slide starting from fret 1 of the E string down.
