| Just thought that maybe, say the sunrise is the good thing, and the sunset is the thing that counteracts it like yin and yang... Like the video has loads of vampires, so their good thing, the sunset is what they relly on, and the bad thing that stops their good thing is the sunrise that destroys the thing that they love. If you get me? lol | |

| AsItBegan or anyone else, can you tell me which song of Thrice Aiden might have taken the lyrics out of? Honestly, I'm curious, not being an ass. Read "Interview With The Vampire." It is pretty cool to read after hearing this song. The Last Sunrise, besides being the metaphoric sunrise of our own or whatever, seems to be most significantly pertaining to Claudia's Last Sunrise (referencing the "angelic eyes" and "so mute and beautiful"). The song is also from Louis's perspective, most likely, who feels bad about Claudia (because she's only a child) becoming a vampire. Sorry if I ruined the book for anyone? The Last Sunrise as a metaphor has already been mentioned (and also explained by the band). So yeah, I suppose like everyone else has already said, it's about allowing addictions or obsessions take over your life so that you are less "human," so to speak. | |
