And as for Christianrockergirl's question: I'm almost positive that they AREN'T Satanic or Anti-christian, though they do have a pentagram on their site. I believe that the use of the symbol is just part of their "darker" look and style, it doesn't mean anything really. | |

| I was just wondering....is Aiden an anti-Christian or Satanic band? I really like the few songs I've heard from them, and I want to buy their new CD. But I don't listen to or buy CD's from artists who are Satanist or anti-Christian, especially if they have Satanic or anti-Christian songs on their CD. | I like LifeFadingAway's meaning, but in response to Christianrockergirl's question, I wouldn't consider this a satanic band, but I think Wil feels as if God has given up on him. I mean, Wil was kicked out of his house at a young age, did every drug imaginable, stole cars, shoplifted, and saw his friends overdose and die right in front of him(this all comes from an AP interview with him), all before he was 18. This isn't to say that he would put anti god lyrics in his songs. I mean, in the thankyou section of the nightmare cd it says thanks to god and the devil for making the world interesting. I doubt this would have been said if the band was anti god. | |

| sorry my emotional friend but i can make fun of any band i want to make fun of. i think aiden sucks because all of their songs are shallow and tedious. Not to mention they're goth fucks and they have a fat guy. The white stuff round their face looks pretty fuckin' retarted. While you may say "its so bootiful and so emotionool!" you dont seem to understand that all of this stuff has very shallow meaning. and they also have a whiny soundin' lead singer who needs a shower. and to give them any credit at all, instrumentally i'd say a few of their songs are DECENT. such as "last sunrise". but the rest are just continuosly playing off 1 riff. Besides, most of this "goth vampuric punk" is most of the time either based upon total made up crap, or totally inspired by trivial childhood memories. Should you really be crying about your life when there are millions upon millions of people across the world that have it 100x worse? And while im saying it wouldnt be easy to be as succesful as aiden, I know I would want to lead a much more respectable and helpful life, not just sit around helping kids cry about being sad for no reason. | |
