Even if it's not the correct interpretation, the whole death penalty thing is fascinating.

Another line that I think supports the death row theory is "So little hope that I died" because there is obviously no hope for anyone on death row.

plus not only did laynes father not give a crap about him, he was barely even there, laynes father left the famiy when layne was very young.

On the scale of freakiness, I give this song a 10! It sends shivers so far down my spine that I need to see chiropractor. It's a great tune but 'whew' is it frightening!

Im prolly wrong about this but the way i see it is that he is pissed off because of all the corporate bullshit that goes on and he dosnt want to be controlled by it but he has been sucked into it.
