Sisters Barbara (b. 24 September 1940) and Phyllis "Jiggs" (b. 24 September 1942) Allbut began performing as the Starlets in the USA with Linda Jansen and Peggy Santiglia (b. 4 May 1944). The quartet became the Blue Angels in 1962 but dropped the prefix prior to securing two minor hits with "Til" and "Cry, Baby, Cry".
