Archers Of Loaf consists of Eric Bachmann (guitarist, vocalist), Eric Johnson (guitarist), Mark Price (percussionist, drummer), Matt Gentling (bassist, vocalist). Formed in the USA in 1991 when singer Eric Bachmann met guitarist Eric Johnson on a bus in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the Archers Of Loaf quickly distinguished themselves with a healthy disrespect for pomposity and grandeur in their decidedly lo-fi recordings.
