| I adore this damn song. I HAVE to listen to it at least once a day. I was instantly addicted to it the first time I listened to it. Seriously, after listening to it, I wouldn't listen to ANYTHING else, for like, two days straight. Aaaha. I feel as if I can really relate to this song. The way I interpreted it was, well, she has a crush on some guy, obviously... "They taped over your mouth. Scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies." She wants to be with him, but there's stuff preventing them from being together, maybe his friends, family, or simply haters. Who knows? "Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone Just the one, two of us who's counting on That never happens I guess I'm dreaming again Let's be more than this" She wants to be more than friends, she wants to BE with him. She wants to hang out with him by himself, start something. But that never happens, so that's all she dreams of. | |
