The Distance by Cake

Another that is meant to be played on a 5-string
fretless bass. Only three parts to this bassline,
pieced together as I have below. A nice mid-range
tone is important, as is the ska/reggae feel.
Memorize the parts by playing the first 1 1/2 min
of the song; when you've got them down, take your
eyes off the tab and *feel* your way through the
song, putting all the parts together. Enjoy!
