Biography

Formed by Kevin Martin (b. 9 April 1969; vocals), Peter Klett (b. 26 December 1969; guitar), Bardi Martin (bass) and Scott Mercado (b. 11 November 1964; drums), this alternative rock band burst onto the US music scene in the mid-90s. They signed to Madonna's Maverick label and, buoyed by the media interest that accompanies the singer's every move, Candlebox soon found themselves a major success.
