Biography
Formed in New York City in 1994, CIV (pronounced "sieve" - also the name of the band's singer and leader, Anthony Civocelli) are one of the new generation of hardcore outfits from the city. With a line-up completed by Sam Siegler (drums), Charlie Garriga (guitar) and Arthur Smilios (bass), the band took that particular scene by storm with their 1995 debut album, Set Your Goals.
