Biography
An intense Swedish black metal band, Dark Funeral was formed in 1993 by Lord Ahriman (guitar), Blackmoon (guitar), Themgoroth (bass/vocals) and Draugen (drums). A demo EP led to a contract with No Fashion and The Secrets Of The Black Arts appeared in 1996, featuring new drummer Equimanthorn. A reputation began to grow, based on shows featuring fire-breathing, fountains of fake blood and the band throwing pigs' heads into the crowd.
