| Yeah, I agree about that military type thing. It's kind of going off and leaving someone you love for a few months or something. I use to remember hearing this song on the radio all the time a few years back. It's just wanting to never have one special night end and trying to make the best of it that you can. | |

| Yeah, don't think this has anything to do with Christ, but hey interpret it how you want. I remember hearing that this song was inspired by Leaving on a Jet Plane, a song similar in theme and also really memorable. | |

| I love this song 100% It is really up lifting and good to listen to. It makes me think about how spending even a short amount of time with someone is special and should be valued. Personaly, coming from a military based family, this song makes me think of a soldier going off for a big operation (war perhaps) and is wanting to spend what could be their last night in civie street with the one they love and care for. But thats just me. This is deffinatly a song everyone should have. | |

| When I first heard this song I was sort of dating a guy off 'n on (he was gone a lot with his work) & I thought the lyrics were perfect for us. The times we were together were really special; but even then I knew it would not last. That is what it means to me. BTW, joekeith, this song is not about jesus; it's about hot passionate SEX; plain & simple. | |
