Absolutely amazing song... I've probably spent hours driving around with this song on repeat, I don't think I could ever get sick of it. "What could you be doing that is so much fun without me by your side?" Lead singer has an amazing voice. So much emotion throughout the whole song. "We will never be the same until you're done".

This song brings tears to my eyes...I love the emotion that it's sung with. "what could you be doing that is so much fun without me by your side? And, I will take a step back, and, I'll let you ahead, And, I will take a step away, and, see if you come back" Amazing...

"and the silence from the side of the car tells me everything, and how we are" its when words have lost all sincerity when the silence speaks the loudest. i think everyone's been there at least once. there's always hope in the darkest of places.. even ace got back with the same girlfriend he wrote this about.

play this song while you're driving...it's very atmospheric. I think this is the perfect song to listen to after a hard breakup. It may be the only thing that keeps you from going insane it makes you feel independent.

in response to alien, you're absolutely right. this is about hope even in the darkest of times. though the lyrics are of extreme simplicity, similar to the ataris they hold a lot of emotion. the early november prove that the more you understand the song the more you can feel it. this song gets them on the map of one of my favourite favourite bands.

"I know something is wrong, I just don't know what to do. You say it's only me, and, that I'm so perfect for you" the story of my life...... "And I wonder if I'm alone in your head." and the thought that constantly runs through my head.....

i think this song is about infidelites..."i know that something is wrong. I just dont know what to do. You say its only me, and that im so perfect for you" he knows that something just doesnt seem right anymore, and he asks her about it and she gives him this lie about how they are so perfect for eachother. then later on..it goes "I'll give this one more try, I'll give it all my best, and i'll ask, what could you be doing that is so much fun? without me by your side" and hes all alone, while she is off with someone else, and hes also wondering if she's thinking about him when shes off. werd alright peaces
