Great song that captures how he felt before he made it big. I'm sure a lot of people can really relate to this. I'm glad that he doesn't do songs like this anymore, though, because that would seem so fake and he'd look like a total poser now that he's so successful.

eminem made this song for us 2 feel,but for a government 2 see how people and kids r growing up these days.He said some potent shit in this song aiming at people who have evrything thay want in life and comparing it 2 somone who isnt forunate 2 have anything and struggles 2 survive in this cold world.

One of my favorite song of his. I think he really captures the mindset of poverty-stricken urban life.

its songs like these that proves eminem is the greatest rapper by far, and not just raping about his 24" rims and bling bling chains, he raps about real matter that mean something to him and he really portrays the emotion well through his songs.

I'm a huge rock fan. I love Tool, A Perfect Circle, Korn.. hell.. I even love stuff like Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab For Cutie, and Armor For Sleep, so who would imagine this song ranks as one of my all-time favorites? Hell, the Slim Shady LP is one of the best albums I've ever heard.

This song is truly for anyone who's ever been in shit in their life. One of the best songs in the album, just cause its one of the realest song eminem ever wrote.
