This song is Eve 6's best song....lyrically and musically. I love the "ding" guitar part during the verses.

I just love the bit where he says 'I heard a bang'. You can see the stars explode when he sings that, can't you?

i think he meant thelma from scooby doo, and daria from the cartoon of the same name on mtv. i dont know who he meant by vladimir, though. i know its a town, and there is a saint of that name.

No idea on the Daria reference, but Thelma and Louise was a movie from the 80's I think... anyway, they're like sidekicks or something. (If he were making a Scooby Doo reference, the name would be Velma, dear.) The only Vladimir I can think of is Vladimir Lenin, who was head of the Bolshevick Revolution in the Soviet Union in the early 1900s. He later became dictator, I think. But when he died, they mummified his body and it can still be viewed in the Kremlin. How that relates, I have no idea... just thought I would provide a little background information. The cheap vodka makes sense though. You guys can make your own inferences.
