IMPORTANT : This is an awsome song to play, and is quite easy. From beginners to
advanced bassists, this song is fun to play, and still requires skill to play. But
before starting to play the song, here are some important notices:
- Please notice that the drums start off the song, and that the bass kicks in about 8
seconds and 70 miliseconds after the song starts.
- Also notice that there is an extra part ( or riff ) right after you play the
chorus. It is important to see that this part is played only after the first chorus,
and never again in the entire song.
( See bottom of tab to view how many times each part is played.)
-The tuning does remain standard. ( E, A, D, G )

| I think this relates to being in High School, like many other Eve 6 songs. The narrator seems to be on the outside looking in, outcast by his peers. He also wants this girl in white he speaks of to love him but he is unnoticed...at least...thats what I got out of the song. What I'm sure of is that I can relate to the song very well, and I think that's what most bands want: their fans to be able to connect. | |

| i think this song is about a guy who is an outcast, or is hated by most people, and he wants to get with this girl because she accepts him and is kind to him...let me break it down. "Your eyes shine bright like a Jesus nitelite" ~jesus is the so called "savior" and he protects the ones who belive in him and a night light concures the darkness....she showed him that she will protect him against other people and he wants her to help him over him his "darkness". "I'd like to touch your positive vibes" ~sorta self explainitory "Indifferent eyes won't give me the time" ~people don't like him or trust him...the expression..."i wouldn't even give him the time of day" "May I help put aside your moral fiber" ~not really sure "You're dressed in white my face is white" ~white is a "pure" color and he think that she can do no wrong, also he is sorta scared of telling her how he feels...a nervous anxitity "I'd like to be a colorful sight to see" ~colorfull as a happy sight "I'm only here in a background" ~hes not really noticed by the other people or with her? "Here on the ground lays my head" ~got me "I sleep and then I wake make sounds and go to bed and wake again" ~he wants more to do...he just plays the emoitions...he wants something to wake to in the middle of the night "The time is right but I feel all wrong It wastes away until it's gone" ~it explains itself "The time is right but I feel all wrong It fades away and now you're gone" ~again it explains itself "You're walking by I'm standing by Behind the light I'm standing by By and by" ~i'm not really sure well that's my take ont he whole thing...even if u don't understand it....it's a kick ass song. its my favorite song the the album. | |

| The Jesus Nitelite thing is pretty self explainatory. If you have ever had a nitelite, if it has eyes they're always clears, and therefore light up. He's just saying she has eyes as bright as if they had lights lighting them up. In that line. | |
