Song: On the Roof Again
Artist: Eve6
Album: Horrorscope
Tabbed by: Alan the Wise (spfan607@yahoo.com)

It sounds like the bass has slight distortion during this song. Try
playing it with the gain all the way up and it sounds a lot like the
real song. Plus, natural distortion is just plain cool.

This song is in DROPPED-D TUNING. Come to think of it, this would
probably be a lot easier to play it with all strings dropped a step,
but im not in the mood to rewrite the whole tab. You can go agead
and do that if you want to play it that way.

This sounds perfect to my ears. The only problems might be with the
number of times you're supposed to play the riffs, but that's not too
big of a problem.

If you have any corrections, comments, questions, or the bass
intro/solo to N.I.B. by Primus+Ozzy Osbourne, email me at
spfan607@yahoo.com. Viva La Resistance!

Please realize that if you request a song for me to tab out that the odds of
me tabbing it are not so high, consittering it takes a good deal of time.
But feel free to ask anyway! I'll try my best.

I love this song. "Your heinous highness broke her hymen hey man try to quit your crying" is definatly one of the coolest word sequences in a song that I've heard. At first when I heard it I had no idea what it meant but now I'm thinking that... "heinous highness broke her hymen".. probably mean's she lost her virginity to him. And then when she found him "erected with another" means he obviously cheated on her. Then she flips out at him and he flips her off... then he feels terrible.. so he goes up to the roof to commit suicide. Those are my thoughts at least.

i think i took this a little differently... going to the roof and screaming "i am going to jump" doesn't sound to me like an attempt to commit suicide: it sounds like me like he is trying to guilt her into forgiving him. the narrator seems to be a friend who is trying to convince him to come down and handle this in a rational way. he is aware his friend is likely not suicidal, but he is not going to call him out on it because his friend needs his support right now. 1

I think Sunday got the best of it. It's written in third person, so it reminds me of this couple in my high school. They were crazy good together, sooooo much chemistry, but there was always over-the-top drama between them. It seemed like they'd break up, then get back together every other week and it drove everyone, including them, insane. Also, "Tied the knot not knowing how to not know" is the coolest line of music in any Eve 6 song.
