THAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE SONG, FOR NOW, I WILL TRY TO ACTUALLY TAKE THE TIME AND TAB
THE WHOLE THING OUT CORRECTLY,INCLUDING TIMINGS, BUT IF YOU LISTEN TO THE SONG FOR TIMING
YOU SHOULD GET IT. IT'S A PRETTY EASY SONG.

i think this song is about being afraid of commitment. Basically he doesnt want to be tied down. but how do i know youd have to ask max, i bet he wrote it.

The original version was better, longer, too. It was inspired when Max drifted away from a crowd at a birthday party, according to him. (A reference was in the original version.) And is about "Not knowing what the future holds, and not promising anything to anyone."

This is my favorite Eve 6 song.... its just so upbeat and catchy! It was interesting to read your interpetations of the lyrics. When I listen to the lyrics the first thing I think of is "its a jerk song." The guy just wants to play around with the girl but not have any real commitment or relationship. He just wants her to be there when its convenient for him. Just like so many guys I know....

I think the dude singing this either always tries too hard in relationships, or with one specific girl, and she/them throw it all back in his face, so he's now saying, 'ok, fuck you, you want a relationship, fine, but don't expect any effort from me unless you're prepared to put in some'.

ok i am amking a cd for my boyfriend becuase im going to college and i coudlnt tell if he was trying to be sincere in this song or say he really doesnt care... does anyone have a clue? liek some of the lyrics suggest that someone is leaving and the others sad but then theres the double negative and that kinda throws me off. i just need some help if i put this song on the cd i dont want my b/f to get a bad impression, because i kinda thought what eve6rockerchick thought... lemme know
