It's about loving someone so much that you'll do anything to keep them, including buying them a new life. the part of the song that I don't get but I love is when Art says "will you please let me stay the night, no one will ever know" It's like he'll do anything to keep this girl but then he says this. | |

| Some reason this song sort of seems like the couple is divorced or something, and that he is paying her his money, and that the baby is the one they had, and when he asks to stay and says that no one will have to know, it could be that by law he isn't allowed there. But that's just a thought...and it wouldn't really fit with Art's background, I think...maybe | |
