	mmm .... out of all the everclear songs this is a hard one. This is what i think though, theres this guy that really likes this girl. He loves to be around her but for some reason he always acts different, not himself (I hate the way I am around you I'm so nervous and weird) Since be cant be with her he goes around trying to find some else just like her so he keeps on switching hence "you make me feel like a whore". He realizes that, hates her for it and there's only so much he can take (There is this place inside where all the good things die) even though he feels like that he cant help liking her a lot ... Yes I dream of the time When I can make you mine (Maybe then I'll feel half alive, more alive, so alive) Thats what i think. -SEMPER FIDELIS

	I agree with applo up there. I'm a fan of both bands though. It's a matter of opinion anyway. I love this song.

	I see this as a guy (or girl, obviously these two roles can easily be reversed) who's nearing the end of a bad relationship. He knows that she's tearing him apart and he's better without her, but memories of how things used to be won't let him go through with the breakup. He longs for the day when they can again have what they used to have, but maybe she's changed too much to ever be the same.

	This is how I am feeling right now towards a certain guy in my life. I will probably listen to this over and over until I'm over it. Love this song, the lyrics...everything. I think you guys nailed the meaning. ;)

	I think it's about a guy and a girl who are in a disfunctional relationship. She puts him down, ignores him and makes him feel like shit, but he stays with her most likely because he does love her deep down and wants to make her happy.
