I hate the diting my radio did on this song. One of the lyrics went: "He pulled out his (SFX: chickaputahhh), talked (SFX: skweeek!) and wound up (SFX: skritch)"

This song is (in my opnion) by far Everlast's best (with Black Jesus next). It is awesome in musical and lyrical content. It defintely made me stop and think that I should be glad about what I have.

This song is about having having compation for other peoples plite and not to judge them because you havent been where they are. A lesson everyone needs to learn better even those of us who think we have

I LOVE this song soooooo much. Not only is a great song, but the lyrics speak so much truth. It's got so much feeling in the way it's sung, he's got such a wonderful voice, and it neither censors not sugarcoats anything. Don't judge, unless you know what you're judging, unless you've been there. All actions have consequences. Be caring, and sympathise. Think before you act. I especially like the abortion message on here. That's something I have really strong opinions about, and so many people are like 'abortion is wrong'. They just need to shut up. 'God forbid you ever have to walk a mile in her shoes, coz then you really might know what it's like to have to choose'

Yeah. This song really forces you to stop and think, "How bad do I really have it?" Musically, it is good. For it's message, it is great.

Every word Everlast utters in this song is as true as it comes. He rains on the human face's stupid tendencies to hudge people instantly.

i love this song. it means so much to me. i went down the wrong path and many people gave me shit for what i was doing. at the time i felt like it was what i had to do. i didnt realize i was hurting the people who loved me most, until i was clean for a while. but also, the people who were looking down on me because of what i was doing did not seem to realize what i was going through. it's like you want to stop doing drugs and all that, but you can't until your ready or something big happens and makes you think that it isnt your purpose to be hurting yourself or whatever. this song just reminds me of that time i was going through. 1

I mostly knew these lyrics, but after actually reading them I now understand why Everlast never wanted to be called a rapper or a hip-hop artist. You know, hip-hop might be fun and all, but just try READING what they write and you'll probably realize how pretentious and childish many of them appear. And I guess I shouldn't judge them until I walk a mile in a rapper's shoes, as I haven't actually listened to an Eminem album (as opposed to hearing his extremely annoying debut hits on the radio). But still, Everlast's lyrics are more mature than many "hip hop" artists. Though this song isn't the least bit subtle, there are some matters where bluntness is better. There is too much crap around that does judge people when they shouldn't be judged, which by the way is a biblical idea ("Judge not lest ye be judged").

Its hard to believe noone has commented on this song yet. Its obvious what this song is about, though. Stop criticizing, harrassing, and abusing the people you obviously know nothing about. Think about what it's like to be them before you say something. A wonderful, beautifully written song.

all right, this is a good message, but i'm pro-life and i kinda got ticked on the abortion part. now, i don't want to hear bashing my personal beliefs, but tell me if you took the abortion part as a girl who MADE A MISTAKE but the part about how everyone else outcasted her for her extremely difficult decision is what Everlast was trying to point out. Becasue you should not kill- (because a fetus is a living, pain feeling[see fetal-pain.com] being)- but you should not judge or look down on those as bad people for making bad decisions. Thats what i got out of it. In the other verses he points out people who make mistakes, like the drug dealer, There he was definitely going against what max did. But he could be pro-abortion, i'm going to take his advice and not judge the writer if he is. Even if you don't agree with my ideas, does anyone else have that horrible feeling when you love a song, but hate the views of what it protrays. It kills me!

I think this song is about how their is diffrent people and you shouldn't judge then because you don't know what they are or might be going through. It's life and things happen and you just have to deal with it.
