| I agree punk IS done for. As for 70's-80's punk bands that are better than the sex pistols and exploited. To name a few, Cock Sparrer, Stiff Little Fingers, The Cirlce Jerks, Fear, MDC, Crass, Black Flag, Scrreching Weasel, The Business, Sham 69, The Vibrators, Slaughter and the dogs, Toxic Narcotic, and Discharge. The main reason that the sex pistols are like blink and Good charlotte is that their music sounds the same. Good Charlotte just has better production. The second reason is they both think they are anarchists, but really they're both major label moneymaking tools capitalizing of the success of The Ramones/GreenDay to turn a massive profit. | |
