| Has anyone ever thought that this song might be about House of Leaves? The relationship with Will Navidson and Karen Green and the Hallway that appeared in their house has been affecting them. "Tonight, my body's jumpin' and I, go through the motions and I'm leaving on this journey, maybe someday I'll come running home to you." This shows how Navidson on the book wants to go into the hallway but Karen wont let him due to her fear of closterphobia. Navidson knows that the hallway is huge and sees exploring it to be a journy. 1 2 Next | |

| its fun playing on the guitar ^^ but yea when you listen to the lyrics, it is a sad song. like debaser said, about two people in love and one is about to die or something. when he says "maybe some day i'll come running back to you" he means something like "i'll see you in the next life" i could be wrong tho because the part that throws me off is "her tears are falling on my grave" | |

| I agree with debaser on the song meaning. Its an amazing song and (judgeing by the amount of comments) really under-rated, methinks. Awesome. | |

| This version carries with it an urgency that I think the original lacks. That being said, both are quite good, and the story is quite sad. This reminds me of Brick by Ben Folds, but instead of sadness, rage is prime here. Just my thoughts. noah, duke of west chester | |

| It seems that this song is telling about someone who is in love with someone else, but is injured or has fallen ill somehow. He then spends his last moments with her and passes away. | |
