The idiosyncratic pop duo Adam Schlesinger (b. 31 October 1967, Montclair, New Jersey, USA) and Chris Collingwood (b. 1968, Pennsylvania, USA) first met on the roof of their college dorm in Williamstown, Massachusetts, in the mid-80s.
