This song (along with the rest of RENT) makes me so extremely sad that Jonathan Larson isn't still with us. His lyrics, his melodies, his harmonies...everything is so ingenious, especially the way it all fits together. This song is the perfect ending because it has just enough hope in it to keep us going without sounding the least bit cheesy. pure genious.
