Biography
b. 14 August 1946, Beaumont, Texas, USA. Graham moved to Oakland, California while still a child and by his late teens had established a proficiency on several instruments. A member of the highly influential Sly And The Family Stone between 1967 and 1972, he was one of the pioneers of the slap-pop style of electric bass that was to become prevalent in modern funk bands. He left Sly And The Family Stone to form Graham Central Station, one of the era's most popular funk bands.
