p = pull-off
H = hold/bend/ring

There are lots of versions for this song on tab, but after experimenting with them I began 

to learn my own version, which is 100% correct when you play along to it on CD. Most of the 

other tabs are right, but this version is easier on the fingers...trust me!
Oh and I stuffed up the other tab I did, so here it is again, corrected.
To get that muffled and sharp sound, have your bass treble high and eq high aswell.

im sorry to rain on your parade, but you have no room to speak about bad longview tabs, as you screwed the one you submitted up by not having the presence of mind to know that all of green day's older songs are one half step down. you are playing that song coreectly in terms of notes, but its in the wrong posiston, making it impossible to play the open chords in the main riff.

the noob is right. if u play this tab as is, then ur playing the song wrong. it should be a half step down
