Biography
Described as "this year's musical lowpoint" by Rolling Stone magazine in 1993, Green Jello ended that same year being forced to change their name to Green Jelly, in order to avoid a lawsuit from General Foods. Initially conceived as a "video" band, they rose to fame largely through this medium.
