| I think this was a venting song. You know, poor bastards broke. And who cares if he left his pregnant girlfriend. I'm sure it's a good enough sacrifice to go fatherless to make a great line in a great song! | |

| wow snoopfroggyfrogg, you take this too seriously. As a matter-of-fact yeah "he" is talking about what "he" feels he need's to do. The point here is "he" ain't the singer, have you got that? A "cowardly" thing to do would be never include unadmirable lyrics because idiots like you will get the message wrong. The "my girlfriend's test tunred blue" verse is also pretty moving (sad) cos it states a typical situation that really can arise because of money, something that people are only short of because of the few who insist on having SO much more than they need and do it by exploiting others. Great song (catchy, lol) pretty obvious what it's about. | |

| the part about the pregnant girlfirend is really jarring... but I guess it emphasizes that when life is hard to deal with, things can just get worse. anyway, great song! It's surprisingly uplifting. | |

| I think it's about neo-imperialism and the rich countries of the world exploiting the lower classes for their own benefit. Jesus, it's obvious, just read the damn lyrics... | |
