In the bookelt of the Deluxe Edition CD with the DVD, he says it's not about a girl, but about how he wanted to stop being in a band for a period of time because he thought it was going nowhere. He also says he's now very glad he kept going with it.

i agree w/ hdnbenjamin that the acoustic version is amazing. its on purevolume, and im addicted to it. its better than the one on the album in my opinion. i love it.

I love this song. The accoustic version is amazing. The lyrics mean so much. Hawthorne heights never fail to amaze me.
