| i think that yes slef abuse in here is a metephir and like it has been previously mentioned its about how sex can become harmful and people can become sluts, but i also think its about how sex has become self destructive to a person and they need rescuing from themself but a harsh word from a close friend cuts the deepest. everyone else can insult you to the cows come home and it doesnt effect you because you can brush it off. but when someone that matters to you says it. its hurts so badly. it cuts deeper than anything else. its like sleeping with people. sex only becomes really great when the person means something to you | |

| This song is using self abuse as a metaphor I reckons, I think it's about sex and how people become sluts and stuff and how it can harm them.. I think it's about the way that having belief in god can can be a bad influence on the way you act how god carries a "razor" and he cuts into self esteem and emotional like feelings and stuff... I dunno just what I felt... but then I'm a very strong atheist bordering on anti-christ... | |

| This may have already been said, but I'd like to throw this out there anyway. I think this song is about how sex between two friends can just kind of fuck everything up and ruin the friendship. I may be looking into the line, " you've made an old friend seem rather dead to me, alas the weapon sex can be.." too deeply...but it's just my opinion. This song kicks major ass...almost the best. | |

| I also believe this song is about a girl who is losing all her self respect threw sex, as well as the whole cutting thing. "to eat the best of you, like the others do we take your pride from you " this line and many more reffer to sex. And she believes in self abuse, it is like a g-d to her. | |
