| Jaksmart, HIM originally did stand for His Infernal Majesty but they changed it to HIM after about their 6th cd release. HIM now just stands for him, VIlle once said when he was aked what HIM meant he said 'I don;t know what our latest lie is. When Hanson was famous we told people that it stood for Hanson is Murder" 1 | |

| True love is the hardest to find, and sometimes doubted, but when true love is found it could be the best thing in the world, and thats what this song means to me. | |

| Firstly, when will people learn that HIM does NOT stand for "His Infernal Majesty"? that was something Linde wrote on his amp in the bands early days as a complete joke. To interpret this song it is necessary to explore the word Pandemonium, the dictionary reads: "A state of extreme confusion and disorder" I think he is trying to say, that true love is hidden away deep into confusion and is very hard to find. Man is so easily deceived by false love, pointless promiscuous sex, and all other pointless forms of love. And in our media dominated world, love is something less important, and not really relevant. However, when you DO find the true love, the world suddenly changes, everything goes from Pandemonium to lucidity (easy to understand). And the world is a better place. I may be wrong, but this is what this song means to me. | |

| For some reason I connected this song to Ville's love for Gene Simmons. I think it's about people you idolize and love distantly. Is that weird? | |

| I agree with quigon_chow, this song holds a similar meaning for me as well. Drained by the anger and grief Fazed by the envy and greed The secret cries for a release The lucidity hidden deep in sweet pandemonium This could possible mean that he (Ville) feels drained and empty without someone in his life, and is envious of those around him that do have someone. “The lucidity hidden deep in sweet pandemonium” could mean that when you are in love, or in a serious relationship everything seem more clear and understandable. I don’t really know if my interpretation on this song is right, but it’s what I think the song means, to me at least. -Toodles | |

| I'm pretty sure he's referring to Milton's Paradise Lost, where Pandemonium is the capital of Hell. | |

| All of HIM's songs are not worthy of any words. Just listening to this song puts images into your head and wonder about everything. HIM's lyrics are so vauge yet so detailed. They can apply to almost anything, love, religin, personal problems. They offer some relif from our overly hectic world. They offer a different lifestyle. HIM's music is very brainwashing, but not all brainwashing is bad and evil. HIM FOREVER! | |

| H.I.M. make me believe that there is hope for modern rock music. I love this song, it's the most heartfelt guitar-driven ballad ever written and it's sung perfectly. I wish I could hear it live. | |
