| Also, it occured to me that since this is about the myth of attaining immortality by ripping out the wings of a butterfly, that this song is about marriage. It's a pretty sick way of describing marriage, though, to say that you show a butterfly your love by ripping out its wings (if we take this to be a metaphor for commitment). | |

| I think the video to this song is one of the coolest things I've ever seen and just the way Ville looks at the camera in this, it almost stops my heart every time. When I first heard the song I thought it may have meant something like if you rip out the wings of a butterfly it can't fly, grow and be beautiful. The butterfly being love in the song, if you rip out the wings, it can't fly, grow and be beautiful. Well that's my interpritation of the song. | |
