This isn't meant as in insult to HIM, because some of their songs are actually alright. But I don't see any point whatsoever in looking for meaning in HIM lyrics, because they're AWFUL. No, really. I was writing better lyrics when I was fourteen. Seriously. The thought of anyone listening to HIM for the lyrics makes my mind boggle, because they're painfully shallow and uninspired. "Woe, I'm in love. Or not. But for some reason, no doubt related to love, I'm going to talk about killing myself and how horrible stuff is." To Whom It May Concern -- No one gives a crap how miserable you are unless you're eloquent about it. Ville, you come across as a whining twelve year old who just got dumped by someone they knew for a week. Please stop. So yeah. What you see is what you get - a turd. Peace out.

Could we keep the personal flames to a minimum and save it for your own time? They're a band trying to make money like all the others who have signed with a record company. Typical love metal lyrics. It works except that it's, I think, superficial.

I will have you know, that between wiping the curry stains off my Star Trek T-shirt, applying my acne lotion and posting hate messages about HIM, I live a rich and fulfilling existance. Oh, that reminds me, I am missing Battle Star Gallactica... *re-adjusts his bottle glasses*

Would someone who actually cares about HIM and his wonderfull works of art send me an email at Bombs_Over_Broadway@hotmail.com telling me how "I'm waiting for your call and I'm ready to take your six six six in my heart I'm longing for your touch and I welcome your sweet six six six in my heart" is NOT refering to wanting to take the Satan into his heart??? or any other thing such as satanism...just email me cause I don't know much about Ville...I have all his music but I would like someone maybe who's met him or just knows more than I do about him to email me and tell me what they know about weather or not he is a satanist (which I doubt) I just simply want to know for sure someone elses interpetation...and i can't really get it from here cause of Mr. Quffer porn star causing havoc...although his last comment was nice i'll give you that. 1 2 Next

When I was reading a bio of Ville Valo, It said that Ville said "666" was not supossed to be a sign of mortality/satan, but it symbolizes how death and love are close together, and the symbol would be represented as "666." On Ville's album "greatest love songs vol. 666" the time ending of the cd was 66:06.66, and 66 songs. Ville ment for that cd to symbolize love, and nbot mortality.

its about a relationship that is growing apart because of the pain that they cause to each other, but as much as the pain hurts the guy loves her soo much and wants to be with her no matter what

I dunno I think it has to do with sensing distance between yourself and your boyfriend/girlfriend. That's what got me into this song, the sense of things changing for the worst in a relationship.
