	I think it's just saying that people cannot try to use self-pity as some kind of connection with others. It just results in a really screwed up relationship.

	I think basically this song is about 2 ppl who are very much alike in the sense of they can very easily get their heartbroken and that their very insecure about themselves and basically if this guy wants to be with this girl he's just got to, be stronger and show her what to be like so the relationship will work! I think it's a great song and I dunno if what i said makes any sense but that's what i think of the song!
