many people have posted that this is a great motivational song, about how you should never give up... but the music doesn't quite seem to fit that tone. what if it's not a motivational song? throughout the song, robb is making references to how he's almost out, to how he can almost breathe, but there's no clear resolution. he never actually makes it out, only fights harder and harder... maybe he does sink? maybe he's fighting depression and it's a losing battle, maybe a friend just died, or someone close to him left his life... many things are possible. 1

a nice punk song about some guy who had all kinds of problems in his life and has to start all over again. its all about never quiting

I think this song is about being in deep, and being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think it means even though things don't seem good, if you keep pushing and trying you'll get there. Never giving up on what you can be, if you just keep trying!

I love how they`re telling people never to give up no matter how far below the surface you may be. You can always make, you just need to keep pushing.
