This is my first bass tab.since there
was no other tab for this on the internet,
I figured I'd start one. This tab isn't
perfect, but it gets the job done.
Enjoy

| The lyrics in this song are very sweet. I ve never even HEARD of Hootie & Blowfish before, but from these lyrics they seem good. I m gonna download some of their stuff, and see what it's like. This song reminded me a lot about this guy I like. We're technically going out, except neither one of us has asked yet. All I want is for him to love me, yet I do love him... so, I m not asking for love in return, still it d be nice if he did. LoL.. Anywho..the lyrics there REALLY touched me, infact I ma e-mail those words to that guy now. =] | |

| I don't think this is at all a "Love" song in the romantic sense. I think its more like anti-racism peace around the world type thing. Especiallys since it starts wtih "With a little love, and some tenderness We'll walk upon the water We'll rise above this mess With a little peace, and some harmony We'll take the world together We'll take 'em by the hand 'Cause I've got a hand for you 'Cause I wanna run with you" Either way, H&TB deserve a lot more credit than they are usually given. They have managed to create a killer tune, awesome vocals, and undeniably great lyrics, no matter what they really mean :D :) | |

| I think hootie and the blowfish don't get a lot of the credit they deserve. This is really a beautiful love song. He wants to help her through a rough point in her life; he just wants to love her. He doesn't even ask for her to love him back. He just says "Maybe we can't change the world, but I wanna love you the best that I can" | |
