since he is constantly talking about the horizon and hourglass in the sattelite years, i think this song has to do with(and maybe the whole cd) stepping down from being the big man or the popular kid and constantly not having friends so you just sit locked in your room..."with all this time to kill". and the tilting of the hourglass means that it will never end; the hourglass will keep turning.

this whole cd is pretty repetative with this time, horizon, hourglass, frozen stuff. but its really cool :) makes it much more interesting... and enjoyable of course.
