| No, this is all the lyrics. They just say them so many times. But still..... they're great lyrics and deserve to be said many times. | |

| You guys are not thinking about this enough. For one, none of you has regarded the title, "Irish Car Bomb"... To me, this brings to mine the Catholic/Protestant dispute that's been going on in Ireland. Maybe this is a song about a young guy, throwing it all away, in one day by maybe joining the Irish Republican Army, or committing and act of violence. The cancer, breathing in, exhaling deal can mean many things... Maybe he is taking a puff on a cigarette, with all of this stress on his mind, and he is telling the cigarette "you taste like cancer". But, it could be a metaphor for death. Maybe he knows he is going to die that day, and he is saying it tastes like cancer, which could be another name for death. | |

| I really doubt this song is literally about smoking cigarettes because if I can remember correctly, one of the guys in the band smokes. I think im with mulk73 on this one. | |

| its obviously more complex than a person inhaling anothers second - hand smoke...hrc arent known to write a song with such a simple topic, and i dont believe thats what hes writing about. i agree it must touch on smoking..but that cant possibly be what the song is ABOUT. alucard seems to have most closely reached the actual meaning of the song...but i think there is more to it than that. but there is no need for us to know it..its something in their lives that we dont know. a person or place or thing and it wont be fully understood. great song though. | |

| i don't get it, why the fuck does a band have to have meaningful lyrics, i bet if i was in a band that got famous and we wrote a lyric like "i went out to the bus stop that cold september morning" and meant it literally, you would be arguing how it really meant how i had a crush on a girl i knew or something stupid like that. | |

| The song is obviously about smoking "Throw it all away in the course of one day" how easy it is to throw your life away in one day like taking up the habit of smoking. "Why can't you just go outside?" some people tend to hate it when people are smoking near them and want to take them outside. "Breathe in, exhale, you know you taste like cancer." Obviously refering to how to smoke a cigarette and how someone tastes when you kiss them after they smoke. 1 2 Next | |

| Perhaps not a person smoking, but rather a person recieving the second hand smoke. "Throw it all away in the course of one day. Why can't you just go outside?" Could mean he wants the person to smoke outside(which seems very logical to me) and as he inhales the smoke "Breathe in, Exhale, You know you taste like cancer." Maybe trying to tell the person who's smoking it how they will get cancer later on. I know it's hard to explain but you get my point, right? | |

| an Irish Car Bomb is an Alcoholic Drink as far as I know it is a Pint of Guiness, a shot of Baileys Irish Cream and a Shot of Whiskey. In my oppinon this song is about a Bar Romance, You meet the girl you kiss her before she leaves the bar and you wake up the next morning by the tastes of cigarrettes in your mouth. | |

| Great song, I think its about a smoker he knows that is throwing his/her life away by smoking. The chorus alone tells it, "Breathe In, Exhale, You Know You Taste Like Cancer" | |

| It feels like the song is about seeing someone smoke, possibly a loved one, and despising it. My girlfriend smokes, and while I love her, I absolutely hate the habit. That's what this feels like. | |

| Its about someone he loves, that smokes too much, and he gets so mad about it only because of how much he loves them. he probably wrote this song while being drunk just watching them smoke and thinking about how really gross it is. | |
