'I created myself to be on my own, but I didn't expect to be alone..." you say one thing and do another, because you are always unsure as to who you are and where you want to be. I think this song is saying that you don't want to need other peolple, it would be so cool to exist solely on your own and never have to contact the rest of the world but in reality we do need other people - without other people we are nothing. "All i never wanted was to be there with you"-he doesn't want to be with the other people, he wants to be alone, yet he knows that that is unhealthy and makes survival impossible. | |
