	Apparently, Jotun means giant in finnish, or so I heard. and he says 'invading the NY skylines' so he reffers to skyscrapers as horrific giant beasts that destroy other manmade beauties, and he compares it to the statue of liberty in that manner.

	man talking about the storyline of in flames lyrics is awesome i always thought of them as just each song or album having a theme i never thought it out as a storyline, or the whoracle mocking us and stuff like that it boggles my mind, in flames fucking rules

	Might I also point out that, in Norse mythology, the Jotun (along with Muspell's sons, Loki, and the souls in Hel) destroy the Gods and their forces at the Ragnarok, bringing about the end of the world.

	I agree with Red Jester. This song is definently about The progression of mankind, And what will eventually lead to our own destruction..Very powerful, and Very true.

	I think you're all hitting the mark. -------- The lines I love are... "There would be colonies mushroom-scattered forever out of context rising spores from a dying world to pollute to chase away what´s left " Pre-Colony (as in the album) hints maybe? -------- "and the privilege of a 22-kilometre tombstone " I figured this is sarcasm, like the privilege of being crushed by a 22-kilometre building as your tombstone. Like it's obvious what it's saying, but I never figured it was sarcasm till just now. Clever. -------- "A body of black that carried no reflection defying its own room un-earthly eggs of decreation " Clearly describing how it's not noticed (it carries no reflection and defies room, it appear to take up no space, yet in fact it does... no way of being traced). -------- "and the absence of excuses for a havoced life" This is a line I would like to figure out, but I can't find the word havoced anywhere, though I've only being looking in English dictionaries and such.
