In this song there are LOTS of small fills (which you'll hear in the background
when the drums make fills) so you have to fill in those yourself because this
tab would be a LOT longer if I had tabbed them all.

| The Jester Race and Whoracle are the best albums, no other compares. Problem is, IF's newer material is getting farther and farther away from the greatness they used to be, and now they're just trying to become mainstream. Has anyone besides me here heard Reroute to Remain yet? | |

| totally, absolutely right.... anders' lyrics have alot of metaphors in them, but a can also see a definate connection with the religion blinding its followers. my mom is a die hard christian, one year her church's pastor/priest (whatever) got really terminally ill, they were prayin and crap and came to the insane conclusion that after he died he would come back from the dead!! of course, he didn't come back from the dead and the church found some 'higher meaning' from this by following their blind faith. so with that said, sniper, pakistaniman, definatelty right | |

| I have to agree with the religion idea. I used to follow the christian religion because that's what I was raised to believe, but as I got older I realized how screwed up it was. If you look through the bible, the actual basis of christianity isn't that bad, but during the dark ages the bible and the religion were endlessly censored and twisted by the Roman government, and that gave the roman catholic church almost absolute power in most of europe. It was just a big power play. And of course with Bush today... | |

| I personally do not think this has nothing to do with a hypothetical Satan, don't get me wrong, it might be about the powerful media, but all of their well written and performed songs have the allusion of evil and death. | |

| i understand what you mean. this is the song that first got me into in flames a long time ago. welll the first one i really liked. i've seen in flames twice, this song is about organized religion. anders said it himself at the show i was at a few weeks ago in philadelphia. he spoke about how "this next song is about the church, the most evil thing on the planet" or something to that effect. praise god, leave the future to your faith, and "your trip will be numbingly pleasant". definitely a badass band. | |

| i agree jester/whoracle are the best albums.. i live in canada..the yukon to be exact.. so i dont think ill have the chance to see them anytime soon.. no one up here except a few of my metalhead friends and i know about these guys.. everyone i introduce them to LOVES them though, and i mean who couldnt! their sound is so unqiue and engaging.. it just draws you in.. they get better everytime i listen to them. i actually havent heard any of the newest stuff but i hear its gone mainstream ( :\ ).. i hope they dont sell out like some of the other great metal bands (METALLICA.) my favorite songs by them are Food For The Gods, Another Day In The Quicksand, and.. well fuck they all kick ass.. those 2 in particular tho! | |

| The guys at the top are most right i would think. In Flames doesnt even speak english as their first language but they do a good job, There songs are very symbollic and hard to understand and the singer growls alot making it hard to understand but an amazing band and wish they would tour Canada | |

| I think this song is about how the media numbs our senses. The 666 reference is not necessarily demonic. It's more about how we allow ourselves to get wrapped up in everything we see and hear on television, radio, video games. These things collectively become our anti-God, drawing us into their debauchery. Of course, I could be way off. These guys don't even speak English as their first language. But this album is absolutely incredible. There's no filler to be found. Every song is worthy of praise and chock-full of musicianship. | |

| I think it's about people that don't think for themselves and are to lazy. People that could easily be controlled by the media. The guitars are great in this song. It's a very intellectual death metal song. | |

I Moved to this small town and nobody knew who In Flames was. Soon After, In Flames was voted #1 Band in Our Highschool. Now, Go Forth! And Spread The Word Of In Flames! | |
