| "The thoughts from yesterday - forgotten. I like the way this new skin feels Bring me splinters of tomorrow Collect the parts where I win " I agree that it is about a new life, but I think it may have something to do with messing something up before... or having the desire to change for the better. "Against the grain Against the odds I’ll rise and I won’t trip again The dawn of a new day Never looked as good as this " No matter what happens he won't let anything hold him back. He has the prime opportunity to change and he is seeing things more positive. "Concrete breath and dust filled tears A one-way ride to inner peace I never thought I’d join the others Those who use the dice to solve He has found something that he is willing to take a chance (gamble) with because it will lead to him being in peace if/when he suceeds. "Against the grain Against the odds I’ll rise and I won’t trip again The dawn of a new day Never looked as good as this" After time, he has succeeded in the goal of bettering himself and seeing things from a different perspective. | |

| He talks of forgetting the past and getting a new skin...a new life. It seems he is getting another chance in life by conforming to something-->"I never thought I'd join the others." He believes that his second chance or new life is something that is incredibly good...better than his last. | |

| "i never thought i'd join the others, those who use the dice to solve" - does that make you think gambling? Maybe he has found a new saviour, maybe he has found inner peace in gambling? *shrug* ???? ( I also agree with Drav!! ) | |

| i don't really know, but i've liked alot of the thoughts so far. perhaps it could have to do with a bit of a change to their style of music, though i'm sure that's not all it means. there's boundless levels of depth to most in flames songs furthermore i've always liked the softer songs and the heavier songs. i don't think in flames would be nearly as good without the variety. this is one of my favorite songs on Reroute, though i'm not partial to the album for the most part | |

| yeah , he looks for the future making his way better and better , learning each day "The dawn of a new day Never looked as good as this " coz what matters is the happyness he found, not the past | |
