	When I listen to this song, I think of this guy that I know at college...he totally pisses me off with things he does. Eg. I don't have that good hearing so what he does he moves his lips without speaking making me go "WHAT?!" Argh! So Jonathan Tryhuba, if you're reading this: I don't like you much so leave me alone and Hoobastank rules so shut it! :mad:

	I agree with Jenster's interpretation. I've recently been betrayed by my best friend, and when I first read the lyrics to this song, I was awed at how accurately it described my situation. Especially the end..."silent war." My mouth literally dropped open when I read/heard that part. A silent war is exactly what is going on between us; I just never was able to put it into those words until I read these lyrics. This is just one of many Incubus songs I listen to when I need comforting.

	earthertom... i like the way u see this song i agree with what u said. i mean cuz brandons ex girlfriend cheated on him so they broke up... so it would be one of those situations where he still has strong feelings for her but he knows he cant get back with her after what she did... so seeing her with another guy would make him feel bad and what not...

	This is another song that remindes me of my last girlfriend.Its pretty much talking about a guy who sees his last girlfriend alot but he doesnt want to talk to her because nothing good would come out of hie mouth.So he would rather just bite his tongue.

	Incubus is awesome. These are great lyrics. But then again most of their songs have great lyrics. seeing you is like pulling teeth and hearing your voice is like chewing tin foil. those are the best lines in the song.

	i think this song is about him so eagar to please one person, but everytime he tries he ends up making a fool of himself. he feels its better to bite his tounge and hide the embarrasment than to let it be shown.(kinda like hiding blood in his mouth, rather than bleeding on the ground)....he has all of this pain inside and this song is letting it out for him because he chose not to "bleed on the ground".....n e wayz thats just what i think......
