| "The biggest fear will be the rescue of me" and "the biggest fear will be the rescue of you" means to me that no, they haven't hooked up yet. They're beating around the bush and are both very shy and fear being in a relationship. The rescue is being in the relationship and they both fear that. Being loved back by the person you love scares them therefore is the biggest fear. | |

| the recscue of you and i...i think is that they are in love...and wen someone finds there self again they arent going to be in love, because love is all about two becoming kinda one in a sense...so if they find themselves again it wuld break it... There's something about the look in your eyes Something I noticed when the light was just right It reminded me twice that I was alive And it reminded me that you're so worth the fight the best ever....and it reminded me that you are so worth the fight....pimp times ten | |

| This song is so damn good! It's my favorite song on this album. It's the reason I bought the CD :) . For me, this is what a love song should be. Whenever I hear this song, I don't feel miserable that I'm not with her... I feel lucky to be in love. I guess the thing I'm not sure about is the "biggest fear". Is that falling in love? Is it committing yourself to someone? I guess it depends on who you are. It's kind of hard to talk about the song without talking about the music that surrounds these lyrics. The music is subdued, but fast-paced (thanks to some awesome drum work). I think my favorite part of the music is the guitar work. There's something very smooth about it. | |

| i think i agree with johnsybabe on what that lyric means. i also have another meaning of the lyric in my head but i cant seem to get it down into writing. maybe when i think of how to write it i will post it... i think that thats a great part of the song thou because it makes us all think about it like we are. this song is just plain amazing i love the first verse... "There's something about the look in your eyes Something I noticed when the light was just right It reminded me twice that I was alive And it reminded me that you're so worth the fight" i think that is the sweetest way to say they love someone 1 2 3 4 5 Next | |

| this song is one of the best love songs I've ever heard, it's the best description of what love is supposed to be. I have a different idea from the 'my biggest fear will be the rescue of me' line, though. I think he means that being in love in such a pure way like that has kind of a scary side, because you KNOW that person is the only one who's able to rescue you from your pain, and that scares him, to be so vulnerable and love it! When he says 'strange how it turns out that way' it's like he's admitting she's the answer he was looking for, and he should be ecstatic about finding her, but at the same time he's scared (in a positive way) of how things can change in his life, and of how vulnerable he's being in this 'transition'... That's what I feel though... Oh, and Incubus rocks, it's the best band out there, by far... | |

| My opinion...the "my biggest fear will be the rescue of me" and "your biggest fear will be the rescue of you" lines mean that they fell in love with one another, but they're terrified of the hurt that may come after if it comes to an end. They're just scared of how they're life is going to be after it all comes to an end, if it does come to an end. I dunno. I like it. And it's not too deep. But yes, this is my favorite song on the album. Absolutely gorgeous song. | |

| Yeah, fireant is right.....this song kicks tons of ass... Of course, "My biggest fear will be the rescue of me" and "Your biggest fear will be the rescue of you " are really confusing lines to me. If anyone has an idea as to what these lines mean, please post it here. Also, does anyone know what "infinitely interesting" thing this song refers to. I think that it's love, but I'm open to suggestions | |
