I never really listened to this song until my friend became obsessed with it, but now I know why she loved it so much. I think it's an excellent song.. describing a relationship with anyone. It could be a friendship, a family thing, or a boyfriend/girlfriend situation. Great song... | |

| i think it's about a relationship where she means more to him than he means to her. he feels so much for her, but she doesn't want to give, because she is too scared or too selfish. i think the "mexico" bit means that, "i'm getting you out of my life". freaking brilliant song. one of the best on morning view - they should release it. it's so beautiful. i think it can also have to do with a friend though, not just a relationship. one of my friends is like this, doesn't consider any one elses feelings no matter what you say. this song was a PERFECT example of how i was feeling. it's so beautiful | |

| I'm in a relationship right now with a very selfish man. I know he loves me, but he's never had to look out for anyone other than himself, and he's having a hard time evolving. When I first heard this song I was at his house, and I cried and cried. He asked what was wrong, and I told him to really listen to the words. It was funny, cos I was thinking of moving to Florida, and Brandon sings about leaving to somewhere far off, too. I don't know if my boyfriend fully understands the meaning to this song, but it touches me so deeply on so many levels. Thank you, Incubus, for another wonderful song! | |
