| im fairly sure the first verse lyrics are; "could there be a familiar ring, everytime i sing about, a cycle which is everything in life, no doubt i re-iterate til my jaw is offset, but i'll say it again anyway, what you give is what you get." can someone fix it? | |

| The song is different from the Incubus sound because it was remixed by DJ Greyboy for the Spawn Soundtrack. I've never heard the original, I don't know if a recording even exists. | |

| I think this song is about the frustration of a guy whose old girlfriend who has hurt him much in the past is trying to get back with him. So he is basically saying "Look at you now..without me...you;re smacked in the face..just like you smacked me in the face before..." As if His rejecting her is so familiar to when she rejected him. Its just vise-versa in the situation now | |

| im fairly sure this song is about alcohol or drugs (familiar medicine abound on your breath), and whoever the person maybe is getting back what they gave, and is now pitiful, because they are using drugs to escape their reality. however, since incubus in the old days (when they were actually cool) were completely drug fucked anyway (i mean, "fungus amongus"?), im not entirely convinced it isnt autobiographical. | |

| My favorite Incubus song ever. I bought the sound track because I saw Metallica, Butthole Surfers, and some others. I listened to it and the Incubus song was THE BEST song on the soundtrack. I love Love it love it! I'm not into most of Incubus' music but this is one of my favorite songs ever. | |
