Aldous Huxely(author of "brave new world") also wrote the essay/novel the dorrs of perception in which he depicts the negative sides of TV just as incubus does here.

I agree with Kyrie...the "idiot box" effects all who let it...from hapless housewives to corporate leaders who for some reason or another can't see what the media in general can do to their perception of reality

i agree with what anti-prep2000 said that "TV is controlling and corrupting the minds of our youth".. Kyrie mentioned that its "too bad we cant all get rid of this(idiot box or TV)" .....I totally agree ..down with the MTV and OLSEN TWINS!! ...these 2 no 3 things have been corrupting more minds than anything else ... anyways, this is a great song :)

this is definitely my favorite incubus song ever. i love the guitars in it, and the lyrics rock.
