its not that is sounds different...new sounds are great. It's the decline in the greatness/uniqueness of their lyrics that bothers me.

I agree with everyone here, its about being yourself and not going by other peoples expectations, and Incubus has not sold out, theya re still a great band they have just changed there sound, they still play stuff from SCIENCE at the concerts so its all good! quit whinning, i would like to hear more science-y sounding stuff too, but its mroe than likely not going to happen they have evolved.

their most recent concert they played about 5 or 6 cience songs (it was great!) this is a great song.hey their music is still wonderfully written and performed, nothing is wrong with what theyre coming up with now the only thing i have to agree with is that IT SOUNDS DIFFERENT its not as heavy or funky as it was before.. INCUBUS IS AND WAS ALWAYS A GREAT BAND! ah, did I mention that this song is great?!

ok ia hve something to say!! jimbobjoe Heh, it's pretty ironic that they would choose to write a song about not being what other people want them to be. Considering that after they came out with this brilliant album and immediately cashed in their talent by changing their style conforming to that whiny college boy "rock" that record companies are tyring so hard to promote these days. for starters incubus are a fucking awsome band. ia hve loved then since science, and still am obsessed with them today, i have all there albums and both there dvd's and if u can sit there and say that they have changed into whiny college boy "rock" then u obviously havnt been lissening to there songs and there lyrics at all, u have heard them but u havent really lissened to them if u had u woudl know that in redefined and make yourslef and blood on the ground and even in songs liek are u in there is a similar message, be who you want to be take your idea and make them real, do be a corperate clone and dont do something because someone eles wants u to, do it because u want to because u feel its what u should do. and braden even takes his own advice, his music has evolved from the more heavy unorganised rough music that is was in the early albums like enjoy incubus and fungus amongus and it has evolved into want it is today.its REDEFINED its more melodic not because they want to be in the trend because the last time i checked more people like heavier stuff then the melodic stuff that incubus play but its because bradons voice got better with time mickey got better on guitar and durk also on base and jose on drums they all got better they could keep it together better and so there stuff became slower and more dificult. but they did it because they wanted to not to try and make money, fuck if they wanted to make money why didnt they go soft years ago. the reason why they are still around going hard today after 10 years is because they didnt sound the same, no one wants to hear the same album over and over again they want something new and incubus are allways getting butter and its not so there albums are big sellers ffs have u seen the shit they own they dont need n e more money. they do it because they love it! and thahts what its all about the love for music. take a deeper look at there lyrics you fool, its ironic how he can put shit on some thing that is so much above him without even knowing what the fuck he is talking about. do the research.

actually i agree w/ jimbobjoe if he's talking about morning view, it really wasn't one of their better albums. I also went to one of their (recent) concerts and they only played one song from SCIENCE...it was sad.
