| I think this song is about not letting society get to you, staying true to yourself and finding true happiness and peace with yourself. The first time I heard this song, it instantly grew on me, it's an amazing song and I love it | |

| this is one of my top three fave incubus songs... when i saw them in october of 01' i was an hour late (thanks to the guy who came with me and his english teacher) and when i got out of my car at the top of the parking garage (by the way it was an outdoor concert) i heard the chorus of this song and almost had a heart attack... it was the best moment of my life, so awesome... this song means a whole lot to me.... | |

| This has got to be one of my favorite Incubus songs...There is not a single instrument (including Boyd's voice) that doesn't shine here. Guitars, Drums, Turntables all come together perfectly...And something about the whale sounds at the beginning. As far as the lyrics go, Brandon Boyd proves that you can be optimistic without being a wussy. That having hope and being an individual and not conforming is actually pretty damn cool. When time washes away most of the "rap-rock" bands of today, I guarantee that Incubus will still be standing tall. | |

| Moving on...there's more than just *one* person out there who's not just outright cold. Many are though, i know...being a sorta middle class attendee at a mono-prep school does suck...royally. Oh well. This song had always been my favorite Incubus song (dont really like their new stuff), but now i understand it a little bit better. And now I like it that much more :) By the way, a have a rare few who aren't cold...like 4 girls i know...I'm glad they're my friends :):) | |
